What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: your name, phone number, email, ZIP code and the details of your project (building type, size, roof pitch, foam thickness and the price range the estimator showed you). If you answer one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram with its built-in form, Meta sends us what you entered there (usually your name, phone number, email, ZIP code and your answers to our questions) and which ad you responded to. If you refer a friend, we collect the name, phone number and town you give us for them. For finished projects we keep a warranty record: the building's town and ZIP, what we installed, and the foam lot numbers. Like every website, our host also logs basic technical information such as your IP address and browser.

How we use it

To call you back, answer your questions, schedule a walkthrough, prepare a quote, remind you of appointments, and honor A Craftsman’s Promise and the manufacturer warranty on your job. That is all.

Calls and text messages

When you submit a form that shows our call-and-text notice, you agree that FoamGuard may call or text the number you entered about your project, including automated scheduling reminders and follow-ups. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies with your project, usually a few messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help; you can also call (814) 208-3478. We never text during late-night hours.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing. A friend you refer is contacted personally by our team, never with automated texts.

Who else handles it

A few service providers process information for us and only for us: our web host (Hostinger), our email provider (Google Workspace) and, when texting is enabled, our text-message provider (Twilio). Meta (Facebook and Instagram) delivers what you submit on our lead forms there; what Meta itself collects is covered by Meta’s privacy policy. When you pay online, you enter your card or bank details on the secure checkout page of our payment processor (Stripe, or Bank of America for card payments), never on our site: we never see or store your card number or bank login, only a record of each payment (the amount, the date and how it was paid). Their privacy policies cover what they do with those details. Financing applications go directly to the lender you choose and are governed by that lender’s privacy policy. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it, and how it’s protected

Lead information is kept while we’re working with you and for up to three years afterward; warranty records for the life of the warranty. It’s stored on our host in a folder that isn’t reachable from the web, and our admin tools are password-protected. Warranty lookups require both the warranty ID and the ZIP code of the building. When you sign a project agreement online, we keep the signed agreement and its signing record (the time, IP address and device of each step), which is how an electronic signature is proven.
